A message from membership:
Hello All. If you have not yet renewed your membership in CFUW Belleville & District, membership will have a table at the upcoming general meeting. The dues are $110 until the end of October, so get in on the “Early Bird Special” (lol) After October 31, dues spike to $115.
The speaker for October 17 has an interesting background in the field of education and community advocacy. Her current work is in the field of medical uses for cannabis, especially from the perspective of the patients themselves. Do come out to hear her, and complete your membership renewal as well. If you cannot get to the meeting, you can renew online at the “Online Payments” tab of the Club website, https://cfuwbelleville.com/
Looking forward to your company for another year!!
There was an excellent turnout for the September Coffee Party which was the first meeting of the 2018 – 2019 year. The room was abuzz as returning members and new members paid their membership fees, investigated the numerous interest groups, socialized and enjoyed the delicious refreshments provided by the Special Events committee.
Our club is welcoming new members. Join us at the Opening Coffee Party and Welcome Meeting on Thursday, September 20 at 6:30 pm to learn more about our community involvement and many interest groups.

There was a good turnout of returning and new members for our opening coffee party on Thursday, October 18. A slide show highlighted the recent Garden Tour and representatives of the numerous Interest Groups were available to answer questions and help members decide what they would like to become involved in this year.
Thank you to our Special Events co-ordinators, Jean and Susanne for the delicious treats and to our Membership co-ordinators, Marilyn and Lynn, for the work involved in making this a successful evening.
