Message from President Lenore:
The November 20th General Meeting will focus on Club Renewal. It will be a Chili and Conversation evening as before. The start time is 5pm and Brandi Hodge, Director Community Engagement , United Way, will lead the meeting. This is a continuation of the dialogue begun in March of this year. I look forward to hearing from the membership at this important concluding session.
Congratulations to the organizing committee on the success of the CFUW Ontario East Fall Gathering 2014 which was hosted by our club this year. Thank you also to the many members of our club who assisted in various ways both before the day and also yesterday at the event.
Tickets for the December Dinner are now available. You may purchase them online at our Online Payments page or in person at the October and November General meetings.
The dinner will be at Sans Souci Banquet Centre, 240 Front Street, Belleville. Cash Bar at 5:30 pm; Dinner at 6:30 pm. Cost is $35.00 and there is a choice of roast turkey or vegetarian entree.

There was a good turnout of returning and new members for our opening coffee party on Thursday, October 18. A slide show highlighted the recent Garden Tour and representatives of the numerous Interest Groups were available to answer questions and help members decide what they would like to become involved in this year.
Thank you to our Special Events co-ordinators, Jean and Susanne for the delicious treats and to our Membership co-ordinators, Marilyn and Lynn, for the work involved in making this a successful evening.
